RESTAURANT operator Mohd Lazim Mohamad, 48, from Kuala Terengganu, knew he had a beautiful bird in hand and when his Ayam Serama (miniature bird) was named the most beautiful in the Penang state-level Ayam Serama Beauty Contest, he was over the moon.
He had expected his bird, Lee Cook, to win the Serama B category that came with a cash prize of RM500 and a trophy but ‘the best of the best’ was something he had not counted on.
