Super waves likely to continue battering state’s coastline until Friday

THE spring tide will continue to pound the coastline of Penang island and the mainland until Friday.

According to the tide chart, it will swell from a low of less than 1m to over 2.5m and with stormy weather forecasted every day until next week, you can expect the waves to come crashing in when the wind picks up.
