The set-up of Play-Dohs Birthday Fiesta at The Curves Centre Court in Mutiara Damansara.

IMAGINATION takes flight this school holidays, as Play-Doh has set up a Birthday Fiesta to commemorate its 60th anniversary at The Curve.

The mall's centre court has been transformed into a wonderland of fun, featuring thematic activities that are sure to inspire children to unleash their creative side. This wonderland will be up and running until Sept 18.

Children aged three to six years old can squish and mould the pliable clay to create miniature masterpieces of their very own in the “Doh Much Fun” activity corners.

Play-Doh’s friendly mascot Doh-Doh will also make an appearance during the weekend.

“We are extremely pleased to partner with Play-Doh to host its 60th anniversary.

"As a family-oriented shopping destination, we strive to create a memorable environment for visitors of all ages.

"Given its popularity, we are confident families and children will have a great time with Play-Doh’s activities,” said The Curve general manager Jazmi Kamarudin.

A Play-Doh Mini Bucket Assortment will be redeemable with a minimum spend of RM250 (RM200 for UOB Card members) in a maximum of two receipts at any outlet in The Curve.

Available in four assortments – Beach Mini Bucket, Picnic Mini Bucket, Animal Mini Bucket and Numbers Mini Bucket – redemptions are valid while stocks last.

The Curve Food Fest is also back, and food enthusiasts will be treated to “A Giant Bite of Happy” through a plethora of food and culinary-themed activities.

From Oct 6 to 9, there will be gigantic Instagram-worthy three-dimensional displays of all-time favourite snacks peppering the mall’s Centre Court.

It will be transformed into a food lover’s paradise, offering local treats such as briyani, mee rebus, pasembor and popular Malaysian kuih-muih as well as Western delicacies such as pies, cakes and ice cream.

Celebrity chefs Datuk Fazley Yaakob and Anis Nabilah will be joining the Food Fest with special cooking demonstrations on Oct 8 and 9 respectively.

There will also be cooking workshops for both adults and children.

“Last year’s Food Fest was well-received by our patrons, and due to popular demand, we decided to bring it back this year.

“Malaysians' love for good food is undeniable. Just as a game of sports can bring Malaysians together, so does a delicious meal!

“We’re thrilled to be able to treat our loyal shoppers to a week-long food fiesta!” added Jazmi.

Those up for a challenge can participate in The Curve’s food-eating competition whereby the winners will stand a chance to take home exciting prizes.

An exclusive five-piece kitchen utensil set, courtesy of The Curve, can be redeemed with a minimum spend of RM200 (RM150 for UOB Card members) in a maximum of two receipts at any outlet in The Curve during the Food Fest.
