Dept: Forestry officials attacked in Kota Belud


KOTA KINABALU: Two Forestry officials were reported attacked while another was threatened during a patrol at Kg Suang Punggur in Kota Belud district last week.

Sabah Forestry Department director Datuk Sam Mannan said in a statement that the two staff, Rosmin Suhod (Kota Belud district forestry assistant officer) and Ruslan Ayai (forest ranger) were on duty in the area where wood was being stolen when three villagers approached them.
