Miri City Council and Curtin may spearhead new initiative with data gathering

MIRI: The volume of household and industrial wastes in Miri has surged and the city needs to urgently reduce, recycle or recompost it, said mayor Adam Yii.

The local council plans to carry out a comprehensive survey on waste products in residential estates, industrial areas, commercial centres and offices.
