Domestic violence on the rise in Sarawak

KUCHING: The rising number of domestic violence cases in Sarawak this year is causing concern to the Welfare, Women and Community Wellbeing Ministry.

Its minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said police statistics showed that there was an increase of 79 cases so far this year, compared with the same period last year, bringing the total to more than 100 cases.
