WITH the slew of food poisoning reports in the state, the Ipoh City Council is taking proactive measures to minimise possible risk factors in food premises.

Mayor Datuk Zamri Man said although most of the recent food poisoning cases took place in schools, he felt he was tasked with the mandate of ensuring food safety and quality in the city.
