SIBU: Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) is planning six new events on top of 12 slated for Visit Sibu Year 2017.
The new ones are Sibu Tower Run, (which is scheduled for March 11), International Remote Control Power Boat competition (April 28-30), Deity Da Bo Gong Festival (May 12-14), Sibu Marathon (Aug 31), and Sibu International Lantern and Food Festival (Sept 29-Oct 22). It had yet to annnouce the date for Sibu Street Art/Comic Convention, which will take place in June.
