A REVISED set of guidelines to carry out excavation works in Penang is being drawn up by the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM).
Its president Tan Yean Chin said the current set of guidelines was done between 1996 and 1997, and is now obsolete as there are some technological advancements in design and analysis since then.
