MPKj: Open tender has led to RM5mil cut in costs


Lai says in the first phase, the council is able to save approximately RM5.8mil, which is 28 of the estimated cost of RM20mil.

THE Kajang Municipal Council (MPKj) has saved around RM5mil by carrying out open tender for its projects.

Speaking to the press, MPKj councillor Bryan Lai (pic), who is part of the council’s tender committee, said RM55.5mil of Malaysian Road Records Inventory System (Marris) funds were allocated to the council.
