KUCHING: The Federal Government will continue to take proactive measures to develop rural areas in Sarawak, especially those that can be harnessed for their economic potential, says Deputy Finance Minister II Datuk Lee Chee Leong.

Lee said this would enable the rural areas to catch up with development in urban areas.
