Volunteers from the Society of Craft and Hand Embroidery Making Experts with the embroidered taspestry which will be featured in the Malaysia Book of Records.
A tapestry featuring the tanjung flower, the official flower of Selangor, will become the longest piece of customised embroidery in the Malaysia Book of Records when it is completed this month.
Produced by Malay Customs and Heritage Cooperation Selangor (Padat) and Society of Craft and Hand Embroidery Making Experts (Scheme), it will be used as an attraction at the Selangor Craft Festival scheduled for later this year.
