Sharifah Shawati’s models are wearing her first clothing collection called Kimbaya, which is a combination of two cultures, Kebaya and Kimono.
MERGING the Malaysian kebaya with the Japanese kimono to create the Kimbaya proved to be an interesting fashion showcase at AmaxMall in Kuala Lumpur.
The showcase, by Adamaya, was held to introduce three new brands under AmaxMall premium - Adamaya by Datin Sharifah Shawati Syed Mohd, Imaan Suci Wipes by Wawa Idris and Shawl by Ku Em by Tengku Nurimazon Tengku Abdul Wahab and Rashidah Yoosuff.
