Employers urged to protect their staff via EIS

SENAI: Employers should not give excuses when it comes to contributing to the Employment Insurance Scheme (EIS) once it is implemented in the country to protect the welfare of local employees.

Human Resources Minister Datuk Richard Riot Jaem said it only involved a minimum contribution from both employers and their employees and would not have much impact on the operating cost.
