Natives and government to jointly manage rainforest in Ulu Baram

MIRI: The proposed setting up of a jointly managed rainforest park in Ulu Baram, Miri between the local natives and the state government in the interior northern Sarawak has been given the thumbs-up by the Penans.

Environmental activist Peter Kallang, who is chairman of the NGO Save Sarawak Rivers, said the idea for the setting up of the joint park was good.
