THE Langkawi authorities have been urged to preserve the geological site of Bukit Tanjung Mali.
Friends of Langkawi Geopark (FLAG) and the Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia’s Institute for Environment and Development (Lestari) called for the preservation as the site could provide vital information on the formation of earth for Malaysia and Southeast Asia about 300 million years ago.
