Eco World Foundation chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye recently visited a remote village in Sarawak to check on Stanley Anak Sally Anne, a 12-year-old schoolboy who was living in a dilapidated longhouse which had no flooring, no toilet and no kitchen.

The boy’s plight was brought to the attention of Eco World Foundation’s chief executive officer Capt (Rtd) Datuk Liew Siong Sing, who later initiated a project to provide Stanley and his family with some basic amenities.
