Sarawak gets new pineapple variety

KUCHING: Sarawak has identified several areas for pineapple cultivation, including 1,000ha of land at the Tanjung Manis Halal Hub.

Assistant Resource Planning Minister Datuk Naroden Majais said the Halal Hub site would be a pilot project to plant the MD2 variety of pineapple.
