Kampung Baru Jerlun Head Wong Sai Cheun (left in blue) briefs Mastura and Kuala Kangsar Municipal Council President Shahrom Abd Malik during her site visit in Jerlun.

THERE was no respite for newly minted parliamentarian Datin Mastura Mohd Yazid as she took the opportunity to visit several locations in Kuala Kangsar, on Thursday to inspect projects and also thank voters for their support during the by-election.

Perak Mufti Tan Sri Harussani Zakaria allowed Mastura to serve the people during her Iddah (mourning) period and the first thing she did was to visit her Parliamentary Service Centre for the first time since being elected as MP last Saturday.
