Director unaware of proposal on a new facility to hold prisoners in Sibu

SIBU: Facilities at the Sibu Prison are adequate but the place is quite congested with prisoners.

Sibu Prison Department director Bismillah Abang Mesra told reporters after a breaking fast event that he was unsure when a new prison would be built to replace the present one.
