MARAN: A sum of RM20mil has been allocated by the Pahang Islamic Religion and Malay Custom Council to be given out to some 25,000 eligible recipients who are categorised as “asnaf” in the state.
Council president Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah said the allocation was partly from the collection of tithes throughout last year that amounted to RM106mil.
