Hishammuddin says the high voter turnout bodes well for the government of the day.
UMNO Vice President Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein has expressed “quiet confidence” about Barisan Nasional’s chances in the Kuala Kangsar by-election due to the high turnout during early voting as well as the hard work put in by the campaign machinery.
He said the 88% turnout is a good sign that support for Barisan’s candidate Datin Mastura Mohd Yazid is high.
