FOOD, games and prizes – just the things every father needs on Fathers Day.
Where else can one celebrate the occasion other than at Weil Hotel, Ipoh.
Hotel marketing communication and public relations manager R. Sharmilla said they have prepared not only good food, but also games and contests at two of its outlets – The Deck Gastrobar and Tiffin – during the “Daddy Cool” themed celebration on June 18 and 19.
“Dads just don’t get enough recognition, so we at the hotel have prepared some surprises and games for them.
“Fathers who dine at The Deck can take part in a contest where they need to take a selfie with the outlet manager and post it on Facebook with #weilhotel,” she said.
“The photo with the most likes will be asked to answer a question to win a hand-made Kauffmann Lorenzo belt worth RM328, hotel stays, and dining vouchers,” Sharmilla said.
“Those dining at Tiffin can take part in a cake decorating or a dessert eating contest and stand a chance to win the same prizes,” she added.
Sharmilla said for the food at The Deck, patrons had two set meal options to choose from, the RM118 set with 60°C Sous Vide Spring Chicken Shitake Mushroom Whipped Potato or the RM138 one with Braised Short Ribs.
Both sets, she said, would come with a Grilled Zuchinni Cold Roll, Roasted Five Spice Pumpkin Bisque and Irish Parfait.
“We also serve non-alcoholic dishes upon requests by customers.
“At the Tiffin, dads dine for free with every five paying adults during the high tea buffet. The price is at RM58 per person,” she said.
“The high tea session will be held on June 19 from noon to 3pm,” she added.
Sharmilla also said that customers who preferred to celebrate Fathers Day with Chinese cuisine could do so at its Yuk Sou Hin restaurant.
“With a minimum spending of RM600 per table, customers can get a complimentary voucher for a bottle of white or red wine,” she said.
