MORE than 1,000 Sikh devotees from all over the country took part in a grand procession to mark the opening of thefour-storey Gurdwara Sahib Temple in Jalan Tokong Ular, Bayan Baru, Penang.

The Nagar Kirtan procession started from the old temple in Lorong Mahsuri on Thursday, featuring the Sri Darvesh Pipe Band from Kuala Lumpur, a convoy of Punjabi super bikers and members of the Sikh community.
