Month-long arts and culture extravaganza

LEARNING the art of Chinese ink painting has allowed retired teacher Chuah Poh Choo to express her creativity and bond with her fellow cancer survivors.

“The weekly class has given me the chance to revive my interest in art and meet new people. It is very therapeutic too, as the teacher and students are like my support group,” said Chuah of the activity that is one of the wellness classes organised by the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM).
