Drains to be upgraded to address flash floods in Kuching

KUCHING: Kuching North City Hall (DBKU) is embarking on drainage upgrading works in Padang Merdeka and its vicinity to mitigate flash floods in the area.

Mayor Datuk Abang Abdul Wahap Abang Julai said the RM8mil project will be carried out in three phases, with the first to start at Jalan Khoo Hun Yeang next week.
