PJ to get its first compost machine

PETALING Jaya’s first industrial compost machine will soon be installed near the SS2 market to tackle the increasing amount of food waste disposed in the city every day.

Currently, food waste makes up over 40% of the daily domestic waste collected from both households and businesses in the city.
