BILLED as their biggest one-stop innovative solution centre for heavy commercial vehicles in Malaysia, YonMing Group Sdn Bhd said the opening of the centre would make the group even stronger.
The group’s managing director Alex Kau said out of their 21 branches nationwide, the Ipoh branch is the biggest in Malaysia.
“With this branch, I am expecting more sales. Since this is the biggest centre, there are more reasons for customers to come and purchase the trucks.
“When you have trucks, the need for after-sales service is important and this centre is able to fulfil your needs,” he said.
The group’s northern branches are in Alor Setar, Butterworth, Bukit Mertajam, Taiping, Bukit Kayu Hitam and Ipoh.
Alex said business in the northern region has been good and with the opening of its latest branch, their customers can easily look for a place to go for after-sales service.
YonMing Group started as a humble sole-proprietorship in 1979 and is now renowned for sale, distribution, maintenance and service of parts for heavy commercial vehicles.
It has grown into a multinational group of companies with over 38 branches, over 500 staff and a local and international supply chain.
YonMing Group has a strong presence in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Shaanxi Automobile Holding Group vice-general manager Liang Zhen, who came from China for the opening ceremony, hopes to see better sales in the South-East Asia region for their products.
“Looking to the future, we want to realise our target of selling 200,000 heavy trucks and revenue exceeding ¥100bil (RM62.2bil).
“Holding on to our philosophy, ‘Renown with Virtues, Leading by Service, Success with Quality’, we will continue, together with customers, to build a highly efficient, win-win industrial chain ecosystem and become a leading service-oriented automobile group,” she said.
Liang also said she is optimistic that the new branch will solidify Shaanxi’s position in Malaysia.
YonMing sells and distributes spare parts from Shaanxi and the company’s Shacman trucks are popular in Malaysia.
