INSPIRED by the Channel Tunnel, a new proposal suggests building an underwater rail linking Malaysia to neighbouring country Indonesia.

Seeing a boom in the rail industry in Malaysia, Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Abdul Aziz Kaprawi told reporters that private entities have been mooting such a plan for a while now and hopes it would be realised in the near future.
