KUCHING: Local government elections should be restored in Sarawak, says DAP’s Abdul Aziz Isa, who is a special assistant to Sarawak DAP chief Chong Chieng Jen.
The fact that most councillors were unknown to the public was a strong reason for elections to be held to improve accountability and service delivery, Aziz said.
