KUCHING: The deaf community in the state aims to win more medals for Sarawak in the 19th Malaysia Deaf Games 2016 (Sopma) in September in order to be able to participate in the Asean Games.

Sopma organising committee member and Sarawak deaf sports association president Albert Wong Tuong Chui said Sarawak would host Sopma for the first time and he hoped more deaf members would be encouraged to be involved in sports.
