Gerakan questions state’s transparency

PENANG Gerakan acting Youth chief Jason Loo has appealed to the state assembly to abolish the requirement to sign a Statutory Declaration (SD) when applying for documents under the Freedom of Information enactment.

“When I applied for the Bayan Bay and Bayan Mutiara agreements on Feb 16 in Komtar, the state initially said my application had been approved,” he said outside the state assembly building yesterday.
