Council wants to limit visitors to protect pristine surrounds

THE Taiping Municipal Council is mulling plans to set a limit on the number of visitors to Bukit Larut.

Bukit Larut Tourism Centre Director Roslee Ahmad Rafie said the council is still studying the matter and may implement it to prevent the landscape and natural surroundings of the hill station from being overwhelmed.
