Take part in events to boost confidence, students urged

JOHOR BARU: Schoolchildren are advised to hone their leadership skills by participating in debates and public speaking to build their confidence as this would be useful once they leave school.

Former Miss Universe Malaysia 2011 Deborah Priya Henry said that the pupils, especially the females, should practice their public speaking with the people they are close with so that if there was criticism, they can face it.
