WHAT better way to cool down after sweating it out during this Ipoh Starwalk 2016 than with some Spritzer Natural Mineral Water.
A total of 16,000 units of 600ml bottles of the pure and clean natural water will be given out to participants of the 7km fun walk on May 22, made possible by a RM34,000 sponsorship inclusive of 1,200 T-shirts by Spritzer Bhd.
Spritzer’s group public relations manager Winnie Chin said being a healthy community event, Ipoh Starwalk promotes similar values as Spritzer, which places great emphasis on creating healthy and natural products in order to create a healthier community.
“Through our corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts, Spritzer also tries to encourage the community to exercise rather than sit around with their gadgets in hand all day long,” Chin said.
Other products such as Spritzer POP, Spritzer Tinge, Spritzer+Fibre, Spritzer Duotone Dispenser and Spritzer Hot&Warm Mini Dispenser will also be on sale at discounted prices at the Spritzer booth during the walk whereas participants also stand to win special prizes by playing games.
According to Chin, Spritzer Natural Mineral Water is extracted from 128m underground.
“Our underground water source is located within a 133.5ha lush tropical rainforest, far from contamination. Hence, its quality.
“Spritzer Natural Mineral Water is also rich in silicon which, according to research headed by Prof Christopher Exley at Keele University in the United Kingdom, is capable of removing aluminium from the bodies of people with Alzheimer’s disease,” added Chin.
Recognised locally and internationally for its quality, Spritzer Natural Mineral Water has been named the Largest Bottled Water Producer by the Malaysia Book of Records; Asia Pacific Bottled Water Company of the Year by Frost & Sullivan from 2010 to 2015; Trusted Brands Platinum Award by Readers’ Digest a total of 14 times; Superior Taste Award by the International Taste & Quality Institute (iTQi) Brussels five times; and the Asia Excellent Brand Award for two consecutive years.
“Last year, Spritzer Natural Mineral Water also earned itself the Brand of the Year 2014-2015 (Water-Malaysia) title at the World Branding Awards; and the Gold award in the Beverage – Non-Alcoholic Category of the Putra Brand Awards 2015,” said Chin after handing over the RM34,000 sponsorship at the Spritzer Ecopark in Taiping.
Located near its water source, the park is another CSR effort by Spritzer in promoting nature and a healthy lifestyle.
Surrounded by verdant greenery on a site as large as 266 football fields combined, the park, which was opened in July last year, is an ideal recreational spot for families and friends to spend time relaxing together.
One of the main features at the park is the Cactus Rock, which has been certified by the Mineral and Geoscience Department to be 214 million years old, dating back to the Triassic Period.
Noting that entrance to the park is free, Chin said the park was also aimed at educating the public on the importance of protecting the environment as well as recycling.
