SOME 200 e-books will now be available in the Petaling Jaya community library.
Petaling Jaya mayor Mohd Azizi Mohd Zain said this at the launch of the e-library in the council’s community library at Jalan Selangor recently.
The e-library is a collaboration with online book store E-sentral and the books will be available at www.mbpjlib.elib.com.my
In his speech, Mohd Azizi said a progressive nation was a knowledgeable one.
“The physical library is a great avenue to borrow books. It will always remain a great place to carry out discussions or even to exchange knowledge.
“It is important to keep up with the times and introduce e-books,” he said.
The e-library would also enable more to indulge in the reading habit from the comfort of home, said Mohd Aziz.
