KUCHING: Sarawak authorities must remove the entry restrictions on campaigners and party workers from peninsular Malaysia in the run-up to the May 7 polls in the interest of a free and fair election, says a local civil society organisation.
Rise of Sarawak Efforts (ROSE) said it had received reports that various Malaysians from the peninsula entering Sarawak in the last few days were not given the 90-day social visit pass but had it shortened to May 5.
