THE Health Ministry will work closely with the Education Ministry to tighten the regulations for food preparation in school canteens, says Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.

Dr Subramaniam announced this after 34 students suffered headaches and vomiting believed to have been caused by an ayam percik meal in Batu Pahat, Johor – the latest of several food poisoning incidents to occur in a boarding school over the past month.
