ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Johor Health Department and state government agencies spent RM54.93 mil last year on patients undergoing dialysis and heart treatment and on buying support equipment.
State Health and Environment Committee Chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat said of the amount, Johor Health Department spent RM2.28mil on 416 individuals via the Medical Assistance Fund and RM128,001 on 1,746 individuals via the Medical Welfare Fund.
