Women’s group to focus on kids and the abused

JOHOR BARU: The Johor Women’s League (Jewel) will continue to help and promote awareness among the less fortunate children as well as women who are victims of domestic violence.

Its new president Woo Sow Pheng said that Jewel would work closely with other groups and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in helping the children who are facing such a plight.
