ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Federal Agricultural and Marketing Agency (Fama) has formed a market intelligence unit to tackle the issues relating to price discrepancies at farmers markets compared to other markets.
Johor Agriculture and Agro-based Industry committee chairman Ismail Mohamed assured that the agency looked into such issues seriously as prices of products in farmers markets should be between five to 20% lower than the other markets.
