THE normally serene D.R. Seenivasagam Park came to life last Saturday as thousands of people flocked to the city’s very first Ipoh Picnic Day to shop and sample local culinary delights.

The visitors were spoilt for choice as about 160 local traders showcased an array of fashion items and a scrumptious selection of food and drinks from 10am to 10pm.
