KUCHING: Penan children in the Murum resettlement area are getting additional help in reading and writing skills to give them a better chance of doing well in the UPSR exam.
Some 31 primary school pupils are currently undergoing a one-year “Literacy for Social Inclusion Programme”, developed specifically for the Penan children at SK Tegulang, one of two schools within the Murum Resettlement Scheme.
