HAVING been part of Ipoh Starwalk since its inception in 2003, F&N Beverages Marketing Sdn Bhd will continue quenching the thirst of participants during Ipoh Starwalk 2016.
The company will be giving out some 45,000 cups of 100Plus to the participants during the May 22 walk that will be flagged off at 7am from the Perak Turf Club on Jalan Raja DiHilir, Ipoh.
The company is also sponsoring 1,500 t-shirts with the “100Plus” logo and 96 six-can packs of 100Plus as lucky draw prizes together with cases of 500ml 100Plus for officials and guests.
F&N Beverages Sales Manager Chen Vong Fui said F&N is once again proud to be a sponsor of the annual event organised by Star Media Group Bhd.
“We have been close partners with Star Media Group since the launch of Ipoh Starwalk.
“F&N is always committed when it comes to sporting events. It is part of our corporate social responsibility efforts,” Chen said.
During the event, F&N will also be selling limited-edition 100Plus bottles featuring pictures of Brazilian football legend Pele and current Brazil star, Oscar.
“These bottles are only available from April to May.
“Participants should get the bottles because this is the first time in 33 years that we are introducing glass bottles for 100Plus,” he added.
Ipoh Starwalk 2016 walk is organised in collaboration with Ipoh City Council, Perak Education Department and Perak Athletic Association.
The platinum sponsor for the walk is telecommunications company YES.
Other sponsors include Federal Oats, Julie’s Biscuits. The Perak Turf Club is the official venue sponsor.
The entry fee is RM13 per person, inclusive of GST. The public can sign up at The Star’s Ipoh office at No. 8-10, Lorong Chung Thye Phin, from 9am to 5pm (Monday to Saturday, except public holidays).
