Steering youths from drug abuse

STUDENTS of 14 secondary schools in Penang are given a five-minute talk on the dangers of drug abuse at the beginning of each school day this year under a programme to curb the menace.

The talk, delivered by teachers, is one of the components of the Permatang Pauh Parliament Drug Free School programme which was launched on Thursday by Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid.
