NU SENTRAL celebrated its second anniversary by giving away 2,000 hot breakfast packs to lucky shoppers and commuters as a way of expressing its gratitude for their support and patronage over the past two years.

The giveaway saw visitors lining up to claim their breakfast of a hot pack of nasi lemak from the famous Nasi Lemak Tanglin stall and a bottle of mineral water packaged in a small woven bag.

Strategically located within Kuala Lumpur’s central business district, NU Sentral mainly caters to students, working adults, commuters and travellers who use the LRT, monorail and the KTM Komuter Rail systems.

Dubbed as the first “transumer” (transit consumer) mall in the country, NU Sentral has grown by leaps and bounds since it was established on March 29, 2014.

Since its opening, customer footfall has continued to grow and its occupancy rate has reached 97%, offering shoppers an exciting blend of fashion, entertainment and dining.

“I heard about the giveaway from my colleague this morning. Since I work nearby, NU Sentral is my first choice for dining and shopping. I hope NU Sentral will do this again next year,” said Noraini Hashim, 32.

“We can’t believe it has been two years; what a great couple of years!

“For those who came and got your free breakfast, thank you for joining us today.

“We look forward to more happy moments with you,” said NU Sentral Shopping Centre general manager Zetty Rahim.
