Get rid of lead in paint, urges CAP

THE Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) has urged authorities to eliminate dangerous lead from house paint.

It also urged that the Trade Description Act be strictly enforced upon companies that falsely advertise their products as ‘lead free’ or containing ‘no added lead’ as these violated the Act and misled consumers.
