THE first thing Eddy Jay Jaimin will do when he gets to the Netherlands is try and put Malaysia on the map for bar-tending excellence.

The 27-year-old from Sabah topped seven other finalists from more than 1,200 participants to be named the GAB Professional Solutions (GABPS) Hero of the Year, which will see him representing the country to compete in the Heineken Global Bartender Final in Amsterdam on April 19.
