THE Psychiatry Department at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital has a team that runs mental health promotion programmes, which ultimately seeks to prevent child abuse from happening.
Consultant psychiatrist Dr Loo Tsui Huei said the aim of the programmes, which are based on materials provided by the Health Ministry, was to create awareness on how to develop good mental health.
