Companies pledge to help DBKU in protecting the environment

Organisers and sponsors of Earth Hour 2016 inviting the public to participate in saving the environment.

KUCHING: Kuching City North Commission (DBKU) will collaborate with two companies in two Earth Hour initiatives.

It will be working with Weida (M) Bhd to intensify recycling efforts by sponsoring recycling bins at 10 selected schools within DBKU’s jurisdiction. The schools are St Joseph, St Thomas, St Mary, St Teresa, Mara Junior Science College, Semerah Padi, SMKA Tun Ahmad Zaidi, Kolej Datu Patinggi Abang Haji Abdillah, SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg, SK Madrasah Datuk Hj. Abdul Kadir Hasan and SK Buntal.
